Yes we can fit engines from our garage workshop. But we also have a state of the art electrical bay which helps us diagnose the more techy problems with vehicle engines. The advantages of having a technical bay is if there is a problem with the technical side of the engine we can move the vehicle from the garage workshop straight into the electrical bay.

If we didn’t have the electrical bay all kitted out with the latest engine technology it means we would have to send the engine to another location meaning longer lead times in servicing for the customer. We want to service our customers quickly and get them back out on the road in the shortest possible time. The electrical bay enables us to do that.

The electrical engine bay cost £20,000 to setup. It seems like a lot of money but it shows that we wont stop investing to ensure we have the best facilities for our customers. The engine electrical bay enables us to service a wide range of engine faults especially engine control unit faults and the way the ECU communicates with the vehicle.

The electrical bay is also used by us to re-collaborate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assisted System) systems in the vehicle. For example when a driver assisted system like the parking sensors become faulty or misaligned over time we can reconfigure them.
